![]() Fixed an issue with secondary ray mip-map sampling, causing blurry textures in reflections and refractions Improved convergence speed and quality in images generated over many frames Improved sampling, RT produces cleaner images Denoiser convergence quality slightly increased Use of the Tri-Planar shader no longer triggers unnecessary shader recompilation Procedural for USD 20.08, 21.08, and 22.05 included in the Redshift/Procedurals/usd directory Procedural included in the Redshift/Procedurals/alembic directory Fixed potential crash after an OCIO config is reloaded Fixed error using instantiated proxy's in to particle systems Fixed render region error in 'Render to file' mode Fixed small issue in EXR layered file channels when assembling light group name. Removed 'Render into Blender' UI button now the render is shown inside Blender whenever 'Render to file' is not activated Deprecated the old (broken) redshiftstandardrendervars LOP all the AOVs configuration is now done using the Redshift LOP Fixed geometry glitches and crashes while working with USD objects including non-constant topology samples Added support for the hole indices feature Scene Import LOP: Added support for the Redshift object and camera level options Fixed a problem with the user procedurals vector type parameters Fixed bug that would cause a crash when rendering objects displaced by projected textures Addressed an issue leading to assertion messages when procedural projections are used in conjunction with deformation blur Addressed an issue leading to slow scene loads when UDIM or UVTILE textures are used Addressed a crash issue when executing the 'Selected object as camera' command while IPR is active Addressed an issue preventing the Linux plugin from loading in Cinema 4D 2023.1 Addressed an issue in the ShaderGraph Editor Commander in Cinema 4D 2023.1 where certain keyboard events were ignored. Addressed an issue where stacking unsupported materials could lead to a crash under certain conditions Addressed an issue where a minimum limit in the F-Stop value in the native RS Camera was restricting the range of the DOF focus picking in the RenderView Improved some Nodes shaders by exposing some useful ports by default. Added initial support for the Open Image Denoiser ![]() Cinema 4D legacy Brick and Tiles shaders are auto-translated to native shaders. RedshiftSprite's now display their Color Space with a combo box The RedshiftOptions node is now independent of the current namespace Proxy Mesh instances are now rendered correctly after interactive deleting and undoing Particle instancer now updates correctly when instancing objects are added and removed Volume Grids are now rendered correctly after interactive deleting and undoing MASH instances no longer create point clouds for instanced objects that aren't used by any of their particles Hopefully the same works for you.The command 'rsRender -about' will provide version and other information about the plugin and renderer But anyway, after I created an account at My., I had an option to activate the Lite licence, which should show as unlimited. Note that to use this you'll need to create a MyMaxon account as well, so just head to My. and create an account there at some point so that you can activate your Lite license via the account login." For me personally, I didn't see those. Once you do this it should present you with the standard Cinema 4D License Manager and give you the option to activate your Cinema 4D Lite license. ![]() You should notice that the files you deleted are re-created when Cinema 4D launches, this is because if Cinema 4D cannot find these files on startup it creates them from scratch with the default settings (this is why you need to quit C4D before deleting them). Once you've selected those items, delete them and then launch Cinema 4D again. Once you've done that you will need to select three items: The Cinema 4D folder, the "machines_rb_20.prf" and the "teamrender_rb_20.prf" (you need the last two even if you do not use Team Render as Cinema 4D still stores some preferences data in those files). Next, quit out of Cinema 4D from the Force Quit menu (this is a very important step as this process will not work if the application is running). Open a Finder window and head to ~/Library/Preferences/MAXON via Finder's Go > Go to Folder command. This is from Maxon themselves: "To fix this issue all you have to do is delete the C4D preferences to restore the defaults. Hey David, I believe I have the solution for you. You don't have to do that "Setup License Server" part.
